Meet The Dentists

Dr. John Perisin is proud to continue the tradition of serving the patients of the St. Charles area with the highest quality of dental care. He is dedicated to the oral health of his patients and loves helping them achieve their goals to have a healthy beautiful smile.

Dr. Perisin was born and raised in Peoria, IL. He attended Illinois State University and then went on to dental school at Southern Illinois University. Dr. Perisin enjoys practicing general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, and endodontics. Dr. Perisin and his wife Kelly have a daughter Brianna, a son Bennett, and a Goldendoodle named Molly. In his spare time, Dr. Perisin enjoys golfing, swimming, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Dana Attaway enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She is especially interested in dental esthetics and the use of dental implants for oral rehabilitation. She firmly believes in the value of continuing education and stays up-to-date with the latest dental technologies and methodology. Dr. Dana loves working with kids, and always looks forward to meeting new families.

Dr. Dana was born and raised in St. Charles. She graduated from St. Charles East in 2004 and then attended Ohio State for undergrad, swimming in both high school and college. After working at St. Charles Family Dentistry for two years as an assistant, she followed the family footsteps and went to dental school at University of Tennessee. Dr. Dana has been at St. Charles Family Dentistry since her graduation in 2014 and loves her SCFD family! Dr. Dana and her husband reside in St. Charles with their yellow lab, Tucker.

Dr. Shanin Reagan is passionate about helping patients improve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. She provides gentle, personalized care with a strong focus on patient comfort, making each visit as stress-free as possible. Dr. Reagan believes in the importance of patient education and enjoys building lasting relationships with individuals and families in her care.

Having grown up in Bartlett, IL, a neighboring town to St. Charles, Dr. Reagan is excited to care for patients in a community that has always felt like home. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri and went on to earn her dental degree from the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. After beginning her career in South Carolina, she returned to the area with her husband Alec to be closer to family. They welcomed their first child, Crew, in August of 2025. They also have two Golden Mountain dogs, Kyler and Penny. Outside the office, Dr. Reagan enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and making memories with her family.
